Propane questions, answered
The things customers ask us most. If yours is not here, call the office.
Frequently asked questions
What areas do you deliver to?
We serve an eight-county area in South Texas from our San Antonio office: Bexar, Atascosa, Wilson, Guadalupe, Comal, Kendall, Bandera and Medina. If you are near the edge of that, call and we will tell you plainly.
Do I have to buy a tank, or can I lease one?
We sell, lease and finance tanks. Which option suits you depends on the tank size and how you plan to use it, so call the office and we will walk you through it.
How do I know when I need a delivery?
It depends which service you are on. With Keep Full we watch your usage and come to you before you run low. With will-call you tell us, and we suggest calling when your tank gauge reads about 30 percent.
What happens if I run out of propane?
Call the office. A licensed technician has to leak check and relight the system before it is safe to use again, so it is not something to do yourself.
What do I do if I smell gas?
Leave immediately, do not touch light switches or anything that could spark, and call 911 from somewhere else. Then call us. Do not go back inside until it has been cleared. There is more detail on our propane safety page.
What are your office hours?
Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM. Saturday and Sunday we are closed. We do not make routine deliveries outside business hours, but emergency delivery service runs 24 hours.
Do you offer budget plans?
Yes. We provide one plan, the Budget Payment Plan, and you can enroll at any time. There is no fee to be on it, though a form of payment must be on your account to withdraw the agreed payment, and the account must be at a zero balance before you are placed on the plan.
Still stuck?
Some questions need a person. Call the office and we will give you a straight answer.
